Developping new informatic blockchain competences with CHAISE_EU

Raimundas Matulevičius

Ph.D. degree in computer and information science

Raimundas Matulevičius received a Ph.D. degree in computer and information science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. He is currently a Professor of information security at the University of Tartu, Estonia, and leads the Information Security Research Group (https://infosec.cs.ut.ee/). His publication record includes more than 120 articles published in peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and workshops. He is the author of the book Fundamentals of Secure System Modeling (Springer, 2017). His research interests include information security and privacy, security risk management, security and privacy by design, and model-driven security in intelligent infrastructure, blockchain, and information systems. He has been involved in the SPARTA H2020 project, Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership programs CyberPhish, BlockNet, and
BLISS. Currently, Matulevičius is the principal researcher in CHESS (EU Horizon Europe) and CHAISE (Erasmus+ Sector Skills Alliances program) projects.

The University of Tartu’s academic structure consists of the institutes and colleges of four faculties (valdkond) and the university’s institutions not affiliated to any faculty. The support structure of the university consists of 16 units. The University of Tartu has 66 partner universities in 26 different countries. Bilateral academic cooperation agreements with these universities provide opportunities for the exchange of students and researchers. These university-wide cooperation agreements include all faculties and institutions at the university. For entering into a partnership agreement, the primary considerations are:

Parisa Ghodous is currently full professor incomputer science department of University of Claude Bernard Lyon I. She is memberof LIRIS UMR 5205 (Laboratory of Computer Graphics, Images and InformationSystems). Her research and education expertise are in the following areas:  Blockchain, Cloud Computing, Interoperability,Web semantic, Service Science, Collaborative modeling, Product data exchangeand modeling and Standards. She is in editorial boards of CERA, ICAE and IJAM journalsand in the committees of many relevant international associations such as concurrentengineering and Interoperability. She was involved in more than 20 Europeanprojects, 4 as a coordinator (VET4APPS, BLISS, MACHINA, CHAISE).
